On Saturday, the Kobe Festival Ambassador, Chisa Takeda, rode in one of the convertibles in the Torchlight Parade. She was very surprised at the enthusiasm of those cheering, and especially at the cheers in Japanese! Once she returns to Kobe, Chisa plans to share her warm welcome here in Seattle. Yesterday she returned to Japan with many new memories. Thanks to everyone who cheered her on at the parade!
土曜日、「神戸おまつり大使」の武田知沙さんがトーチライトパレードに参加しました。彼女は「沿道の皆さんから日本語で声援をいただき驚きました。暖かく受け入れてくださっているのがわかりとても嬉しかったです。」「帰ったら神戸の皆さんにシアトルの良さをPRしていきたいです。」と語ってくれました。彼女は昨日たくさんの思い出を胸に帰路につきました。応援してくださった皆さんありがとうございました！
