今年5月神戸で開催された「第15回神戸ジャズボーカルクィーンコンテスト」の優勝者、高橋リエさんが9月15日（月）ジャズ・アレーでライブを行います。当日は、2月に行われた「第10回シアトル-神戸女性ジャズボーカリストオーディション」優勝者のジェニファー・キエンツレさんとローラ・ロソックさんも登場します。皆さん是非お越しください！席の予約はJazz Alleyのウェブサイトで。
On Saturday August 9th, KTIO and Japan-related organization gathered at the Seattle Reign soccer field. More than 200 people showed up for Nahomi Kawasumi and became a big cheering party. The final score was 1-1, a tie match, however, whole stadium got excited about the last 2 minutes of game. We were able to hand the heartfelt gifts to Naho, take pictures and shake hands. It was a blast and all attendees enjoyed the special evening.
Let’s get together for Naho again! Let’s lead her to the Victory!! Let’s go back to the Memorial Stadium for Seattle Reign play off semifinal on Sunday the 24th!!!
8月9日土曜日、当事務所を含む日系団体が「Seattle Reign JAPAN NIGHT」を開催。200名以上の方々が参加してくださり、みんなで川澄選手にエールを送りました。試合は残念ながら引き分けに終わりましたが、試合後に川澄選手に花束やメッセージを贈呈、みんなで写真撮影や握手をしてもらうことができました。子供たちもとっても喜んでいました。
川澄選手、プレーオフも頑張ってぜひ優勝してくださいね！シアトルの皆さんは8月24日のプレーオフ準決勝（Memorial Stadium）に行ってみんなで応援しましょう！

Seattle Reign JAPAN NIGHT
On Saturday, the Kobe Festival Ambassador, Chisa Takeda, rode in one of the convertibles in the Torchlight Parade. She was very surprised at the enthusiasm of those cheering, and especially at the cheers in Japanese! Once she returns to Kobe, Chisa plans to share her warm welcome here in Seattle. Yesterday she returned to Japan with many new memories. Thanks to everyone who cheered her on at the parade!
土曜日、「神戸おまつり大使」の武田知沙さんがトーチライトパレードに参加しました。彼女は「沿道の皆さんから日本語で声援をいただき驚きました。暖かく受け入れてくださっているのがわかりとても嬉しかったです。」「帰ったら神戸の皆さんにシアトルの良さをPRしていきたいです。」と語ってくれました。彼女は昨日たくさんの思い出を胸に帰路につきました。応援してくださった皆さんありがとうございました！
Yesterday, the Kobe Ambassador (Chisa Takeda) arrived in Seattle and paid a courtesy call to the Seafair offices. Chisa will be riding one of the convertible cars in the Torchlight Parade tomorrow (Saturday, July 26th). The parade starts at 7:30pm and Chisa is number 25 in the parade! 神戸おまつり大使の武田知沙さんが昨日シアトルに到着。シーフェア事務局を訪問しました。明日、7月26日（土）のトーチライトパレードは7:30ｐｍから、順番は25番目です！ （写真はCEOのBeth Knoxさんと）
KTIO, along with other Japan-related organization, participated in the Mariners’ Japan Night this past Saturday (July 12th). More than 100 people attended the pre-game celebration, along with the Mariners’ CEO Kevin Mather and the Consul-General of Japan, Mr. Omura. KTIO also had a Kobe booth at the game. Luckily the Mariners won 6-2 over the Oakland A’s, thanks to some great pitching by Iwakuma!
7月12日、「マリナーズ・ジャパンナイト」に参加しました。試合に先立って行われたレセプションには大村総領事やマリナーズのCEO、Kevin Mather氏も出席、100名以上の日系コミュニティの方々が参加されました。共催者である当事務所では神戸紹介ブースも出展しました。 試合は岩隈投手の素晴らしいピッチングで6-2でアスレチックスに快勝しました。
