A Seattle-Kobe business seminar was held on July 27th, as part of the celebrations surrounding the 60th anniversary of the Seattle-Kobe sister city relationship.
The seminar hosted a variety of speakers and topics; Mr. Yamaga-Karns from Eli Lilly and Company discussed the benefits of Kobe for those interested in Biomedical technology, Ms. Galia Mor from 500 startups spoke about the first 500 startups accelerator program in Asia that took place in Kobe, while Kobe City Vice Mayor Tamada introduced the investment environment and business attractiveness of Kobe. The event was a great success with a turnout of over 100 attendees, exceeding our initial expectations of 80 attendees.
The networking reception that followed the seminar was also a great success, with many attendees discussing Kobe and Seattle.
7月27日神戸シアトル姉妹都市60周年事業を記念して、市内ベルハーバーで、神戸シアトルビジネスセミナーを開催しました。
セミナーでは、イーライリリー社からYamaga-Karnsさんからメディカル事業を行う上での神戸の優位点、500 startupsのGalia Morさんから神戸で開催されたアジア初の500アクセラレーションプログラム、そして玉田副市長からは、神戸の投資環境とその魅力についてプレゼンテーションしました。当初80名の出席予定も100人を超える参加者をいただき、大盛況のうちに終えることができました。
続く、ネットワーキングレセプションでも、みなさんは、神戸について熱く議論を交わしておられました。
